The author also hopes to make Versor work with vr-mode and emacspeak together, thus producing a “conversational” Emacs that can be used entirely through an audio interface. This could be a cheap approach to wearable computing, using a computer in a pocket or backpack, and a bluetooth (or other) earpiece with microphone, and no expensive head-up display, wearable keyboard, etc.
